Friday 6th November 2009 - Invercargill

A fairly quiet run down to Invercargill including a quick stop a Tuatapere for a sausage capital of NZ lunch.
Arrival was subdued – no fanfare – hmm!!! Though Lindsay was actually here but he was in a Roach and it took a few minutes to realise that we were in the same holiday park! However he had organised a photographer and reporter from the Southland Times – yee ha – though I doubt Peter was overly impressed with having to rewash his car just for the pictures!
A taxi ride down to the Workingmens Club ensured no capris were harmed in the production of Friday night’s dramas. It was a great night out and you wouldn’t have known that those from the North didn’t know those from the South. Something those who weren’there will never understand in what they have missed out on.

An early night of just after midnight though the Bary/Sole duets tried for this twice during the night, meant that we will be ready for anything that is thrown at us tomorrow.
